The 1st Patient Fibrosing Mediastinitis Conference was a great success!
I would like to thank Dr. Loyd, Dr. Doyle, Dr. Kauffman and Dr. Vreeland for their amazing presentations and for donating their time to the group to increase our understanding of Histoplasmosis, Fibrosing Mediastinitis and ways to deal with a chronic disease. We all appreciate your support in helping to increase awareness!
I would also like to thank everyone who made the trip to Nashville! Total attendance was 46 with representation from 14 different states ranging from as far west as Oregon and California, as far south as Florida and Texas and as far east as Ohio and Kentucky!
I would also like to say a special thank you to Harold & Pamela Kaffa, Sheila Durham, Jill Barnhart, Johnell Schladand, Joyce Liggett & Martin Garcia, Marilyn & Merrill Rice, Heather Serrano and Ron and Deb Dredge for your generous donations. It was a pleasure to host the conference and I appreciate the consideration for my expense.
